Also make sure there are no issues doing the actions manually, sometimes reported bugs are game issues. We have no control over the game.
Also try disabling all non-Spockholm browser addons and greasemonkey scripts. Keep in mind that we only support Chrome and Firefox in the latest versions, since we cannot test it on every available browser.
In order for us to address your issue, we need some information to help us help you.
Every good bug report will have these three topics covered:
- Detailed steps to reproduce the bug
What browser are you using?
What bookmarklet are you trying to use?
Version number of bookmarklet.
Your settings in the bookmarklet.
How are you launching the bookmarklet?
On what page are you launching the bookmarklet?
In what city are you running the bookmarklet?
Do you have any other scripts running?
- What you are expecting to happen?
Perhaps it is not a bug, we need to know what you are expecting to determine this.
- What happened instead?
Was there any error reported? Use this guide, How to: Find Java Error Logs.
Taking a screenshot will give us a lot of information about the current state of things.
Here are a bunch of tools to use with the Imgur service, http://imgur.com/tools
Use a clear title for your new post
Think twitter. We should understand what script and what problem you have from just reading the title. This will also help others find topics, so the board is not flooded with duplicates.
One bug report, one problem.
If you have different issues, please make different bug reports.
Tag your post with script name, double check spelling. This will help everyone find relevant topics.
Review your report before submitting
Did you forget any details? Perhaps version of the spocklet or the fact that you are running beta build of Chrome/Firefox? We are not mind-readers, so include much detail.
Not working or script name title
If your title is "script not working" or only a script name, you are not likely to get help because it is obvious you did not read this FAQ.
Please understand that by not providing information, you make it harder for us to address the problem.
